Happy New Year from the 13th Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference Planning Committee!! As we begin a new year, we are excited to provide an update to the #2017COH. For the past several months, the Planning Committee has been hard at work soliciting abstracts, selecting presenters, identifying keynotes and conference activities to ensure that we are offering an optimal, well-rounded conference agenda.

Once again, the conference will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the shadow of the breathtaking Sandia Mountains. The Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel will play host to the conference and is just steps away from the Albuquerque International Airport. We encourage participants to make reservations early.

This year, the Circle of Harmony will offer a variety of workshop and breakout sessions addressing such topics as HIV PrEP, strategic planning for social media, strategic leadership, linkage to & retention in care, and integration of Hepatitis C & HIV prevention information, to name a few. New this year is the addition of a Social Media Lab hosted by AIDS.gov. This Lab will offer participants one-on-one, hands-on technical assistance to develop and extend your public health messages on digital platforms.

Building upon the success of the 12th Circle of Harmony Conference, the Pre-Conference Institute will once again be offered. This half-day institute will focus on the need for building a National Native HIV Advocacy Group. The presentations, facilitated dialogue and activities are designed to actively involve attendees in discussion on this very important topic. We are also excited to have Capacity Building Assistance Providers in attendance to offer their expertise in the areas of strategic thinking and mobilization.

With so much to offer, we encourage you to register to attend the #2017COH. See you in April!
