Albuquerque, New Mexico – The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. (AAIHB), will host the 13th Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, April 19-21, 2017. The upcoming conference theme will be "Comprehensive Approaches to Healthier Communities: Integration of STD, HIV, Hepatitis & Harm Reduction Prevention & Services."
The purpose of the #2017COH is two-fold; 1) to educate Native Americans of all ages about good health, HIV infection and the risky behaviors which can lead to infection; and, 2) to share with health care service providers current approaches to provide HIV prevention and care services to their Native American clients and patients.
The #2017COH Planning Committee seeks presenters who can address the complex and unique issues related to HIV/AIDS and have experience and expertise in working with Native Americans. The new abstract submission deadline is Friday, November 18, 2016.
In the past, presenters have been selected of their expertise in Native American health issues and have been drawn from throughout the United States. We anticipate another informative and motivating agenda.
Early registration is $75 until November 30, 2016. In order to guarantee the early registration fee, payment must be postmarked by November 30, 2016. If not, the regular registration fee will be applied to individual registrations.
Regular registration fee is $100 until February 28, 2017. Again, to guarantee regular registration fee, payment must be postmarked by February 28, 2017. If not, the On-site registration fee of $125 will be applied to individual registrations. On-site Registration begins March 1, 2017 and remains in affect through the end of the conference.
