Jeremy Yazzie is an enrolled member of the Navajo tribe. Jeremy works at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless with the Development Team. He is also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in American Studies with a minor in Journalism at the University of New Mexico. He has over 10 years of experience in the HIV prevention field including harm reduction services. Jeremy’s experience as a certified HIV tester and counselor helped establish the HIV testing program at the Transgender Resource Center of NM. He is also the founder of the GLBTQ support group which still functions in Gallup, NM. He is a co-organizer for the annual Gallup Pride event.
