13th Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference

Comprehensive Approaches to Healthier Communities

The Pre-Conference Institute will create dialogue to restore collaborations between tribal, local, regional, and national partners, providers and advocates to ensure inclusion of American Indian and Alaska Native peoples in HIV prevention and care. The facilitated dialogue and breakout activities will identify strategies, steps, and process to mobilize existing indigenous partners and ally agencies to strengthen efforts. Discussions will include expanding partnerships with federal agencies to lend resources for activities that align with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and sharing effective and best practices of indigenous approaches to HIV education, prevention, care and treatment.
