Christina (Tina) Murphy is the Program Manager at Indigenous Peoples Task Force. She is an alumna of the Leadership and Advocacy Institute to Advance Minnesota's Parity for Priority Populations (LAAMPP) and Policy Champion Coalition with APPEAL/ClearWay MN. Tina has served on several panels, projects, and health equity coalitions, around all health disparities. Recently, Tina led her LAAMPP Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) team of colleagues in working with the owners of the Hmongtown Marketplace in St. Paul, Minnesota to establish a smoke-free environment.
Tina's passion is to help create health equity opportunities focusing on: Tobacco, HIV/AIDS Prevention/Education, Ending the Trend of Obesity, towards a healthier way of life for ourselves, our people our families, no matter who you are, where you come from and what you represent. Tina is from Guam, grew up in Alaska for 13 years, and currently lives in Minnesota. Her heritage is her Chamorro people from Guam. In her spare time, Tina loves to spend time with family/friends, and helping others with her health and wellness goals.
